Default Whats a good investment?

For the dragon festival what are you guys investing to go AFK? I put 12k to get about 1k tickets, hoping to stand on the outer ring and get some titles. What do you guys think you would need to go AFK for about a day, maybe more?

Better yet, how much are you investing?

Just invest as much as you possibly can or are confortable with spending, respectively. The tickets have 100% resell value, so you can sell any surplus back to the NPC without loss.

I bought 10 stacks this morning before leaving for work. I won't be back home until around 5pm and probably won't have a chance to check my character and buy more tickets until at least 6pm. I'm hoping those 10 stacks will last until then.

Basically, don't worry about over-buying. If you have the cash to buy 20-30 stacks, then buy 20-30 stacks and forget about them. You can always sell the unused stacks back to the merchant for the same price you paid for them.

(BTW, I had 12 stacks of tickets when I checked the computer before driving off. I think i picked a good ring. )

I bought 75k worth, just so I wouldn't have to leave the area. I'm guessing i'll either use up all if not most of them by the end of today and repeat with it for the rest of the weekend, although I only managed to build up 200k in storage, hoping it will last me unlike last time.

Every few months there's a festival (there's one around Halloween and Wintersday which is around Christmas/New Years, couple others throughout the year). You must have Factions to participate fully in this one, the Dragon Festival.

Basically, there are a bunch of gambling games so people can work on titles, some rollerbeetle races, and usually a fun PvP game similar to a snowball fight. You can collect tokens which you can cash in for a festival hat or for fireworks, alcohol, sweets as you like. Collecting the tokens or the rewards and selling them to other players is a good way to make money.

Also, on Sunday there will be a finale every 2 hours in which you'll have to compete in some district wide event and then if the district wins, everyone will receive a number of presents. These presents will have alcohol, sweets or even $1k in plat in them.

Oh year, almost forgot, there are special quests and missions you can take to earn victory tokens. The quests are pretty easy and probably the best way to get a lot of tokens in little work. The missions are hard.
